Volunteer Positions That Make an Impact
- Board of Directors – Board members are people called to this ministry with a strong degree of commitment to protect, provide for and grow the ministry. This position requires a 3 year commitment; monthly meetings and serving on a Board Committee as well as attending events. Training is provided.
- Mentors/Advocates – Men and women who are called to walk alongside clients offering support and guidance using our Bright Course Platform as clients navigate issues relating to pregnancy, parenting and relationships. In-depth training is provided. This requires a weekly commitement of 2-4 hours.
- Donation Station Volunteers – People who enjoy sorting donations, laundering them if necessary and then placing them in the Hope Exchange for client shopping. This requires a weekly or bi-weekly commitment of 2 hours.
- The Hope Exchange Volunteers – People who enjoy helping clients shop with their Bright Bucks earned from taking Bright Course Classes. This also requires a weekly or bi-weekly commitment of 2 hours.
- Building Volunteers – People who are handy with maintaining the integrity of our building to ensure that everything is functioning properly. This position works under Randy Hunter who is the board member in charge of the building. This does not include any cleaning. Commitment is on an as needed basis.
